Biodiversity Ads

The Biodiversity Project and Green Team Advertising have produced a series of ads on biodiversity, sprawl and smart growth that incorporate the sprawl and biodiversity messages in our message kit, Getting on Message: Making the Biodiversity-Sprawl Connection. We hope that these ads will be used as an outreach tool to promote local issues. Examples of how they might be used include: placing them in local papers, as poster or fliers in local businesses, in organizational materials, or on websites.

These ads (nine total) are available from the Biodiversity Project on a CD ROM. The electronic format allows users to modify certain aspects of the ads to meet their specific communications needs: groups can insert a targeted call-to-action, add their organizational logo, or substitute a photo from the local community or landscape.

Ads are available to those that have received a copy of the message kit ($15 each). Those interested in receiving a CD with the ads (and biodiversity graphics) will first be sent a memorandum of agreement that describes the guidelines and restrictions for use. These ads cannot be used without the express permission of the Biodiversity Project.

To order the CD, send an email to Erin Oliver at eoliver@biodiverse.org

You can view ad samples here in PDF format.  "PDF" stands for "Portable Document Format," or Acrobat format. To read these files, get Adobe Acrobat Reader software for free

Biodiversity Logos

In addition to the ads, the Biodiversity Project contracted with Green Team Advertising to develop a slogan and look for the concept of biodiversity. The new graphic and tagline "package" biodiversity in a way that can be used by a range of organizations and institutions raising biodiversity awareness. Our hope is that the graphic will be inserted into a wide variety of outreach materials by organizations doing outreach on biodiversity and related issues. The goal is to provide a consistent look and message that the public could then begin to associate with the concept of biodiversity.

The nine variations on the graphic are available from the Biodiversity Project on a CD ROM. The electronic format allows you to insert the graphic into your own outreach materials on biodiversity and related issues.

The graphics are available to those that have received a copy of the message kit ($15 each). Those interested in receiving the CD containing graphics (and ads) will first be sent a memorandum of agreement that describes the guidelines and restrictions for use. These graphics cannot be used without the express permission of the Biodiversity Project.

To order the CD, send an email to Erin Oliver at eoliver@biodiverse.org.
