Humans are undermining the earth's natural systems by rapidly destroying species and habitat that cannot be replaced. We are threatening our own health and quality of life and that of future generations.

But we can reverse these trends now by making better choices as individuals, as communities, and as nations.

We all have the responsibility to conserve the grand diversity of life on earth, and to protect all of nature's interconnections upon which we rely.
